Dr. Siddhartha Mandal delivered a presentation on the ‘Impact of Heat Waves on All-Cause Mortality in India’ at the “National Workshop on Heat Wave 2024: Exploring Management Interventions and Mitigation Strategies” organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). His presentation focsussed on findings from the Consortium’s paper on the “Impact of heatwaves on all-cause mortality in India: A comprehensive multi-city study” published in the Environment International Journal.
